Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance on recreation projects. Including identifying and conducting maintenance and reconstruction of trails, signs, and other recreation facilities. This position will also assist with the preparation, administration and monitoring of visitor use, and outfitter guide permits. This position may also require working at education and outreach events to the general public.

Housing will not be provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of recreation facilities
  • Visitor use monitoring and reporting
  • Education and outreach events

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of procedures to clean and maintain recreation areas, facilities, and trails.
  • Practical knowledge and ability to safely operate 4x4 vehicles.
  • Ability to work and navigate in the backcountry.
